Treasure Hunt fundraiser was a grrrreat success
On July 6, the Terminal City Rollergirls held a pirate-themed fundraiser. As you’d expect from a bunch of beyond-cool rollergirls, our fundraisers double as funraisers. Besides a bountiful flea market-style sale, there were hot dogs and snacks, face painting for the kids, music - and sexy rollergirls in pirate costumes!
Lots of leftover treasure went to help others in the community through donations to the Salvation Army and to local charity My Sister’s Closet (1029 Commercial Drive), a worthwhile organization that does excellent work on behalf of Vancouver’s Battered Women’s Support Services.
